It was cold. 20 degrees below with a wind chill that felt like –30. Ice was hard and as flat as I have ever seen it. They ran pursuits at sundown. Keven Wetzel, Ian Miller from Toronto with me teamed up against Graham Lodge and two other Juniors for 8 laps. Some Masters had to leave early. There were several scratches due to fatigue or having to get on the road.
